Trader Joe’s:
Look, I am not oblivious to the criticism. Are there any updates? Have they gotten better? Googling “Are Trader Joe’s still shitbags?” didn’t yield a lot in the way of results. Even worse, I’ve been carrying around my faux-LL Bean bag everywhere and apparently that’s like, a thing in London? Am I an American trendsetter? Unlikely. But these are a few of the things I filled it with this week.
Soft & Juicy Mango: They’re cheap, take up no pantry space, and taste delicious.
Chille Season Dried Mango: Same as above, but spicy.
Lobster Bisque: I did this, and I want to do it again.
Corn and Chile Salsa: Loving in my shrimp tacos lately. Perfect if you like things a little sweet.
Spicy Mango Habanero Guacamole: It’s now firmly established I like spice and mango. With that said, one of the best guacs I’ve ever had in my life.
Everything But The Elote Seasoning Blend: So good on veggies.
Chile Lime Seasoning Blend: Admittedly haven’t tried yet.
Truffle Aioli: Apparently limited, definitely delicious.
Fair Trade Cocoa: Holy fuck, is this the best chocolate milk of all time?

Traitor Joe:
Spicy and Sweet Trail Mix: My friend Jen is an R&D chef at Meijer and I am obviously happy about that.
Yellowbird Blue Agave Sriracha: Fuck yes.
Lime Pickled Onion: Purchased a few Broken Taco jars because of the labels, but damn. Re: aforementioned shrimp tacos…
