Kind of strange (probably not that strange) but this week basically echoed this same stretch last year. I didn’t end up seeing Marc Maron again, but I did pick up an autographed copy of his so-called “party record” Panicked, which, by the way, is almost word-for-word the show I went to last year. That was just one of too many I copped at Record Store Day, the rest being The Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, John Prine, Roy Ayers and Adam Sandler’s very questionable masterpiece They’re All Gonna Laugh At You.
After a solid workout and breakfast (¡huevos rancheros!) Tyler and PJ and I hit up my buddy Tesco Vee‘s toy, record and comic show. Both walked out with shit I wasn’t quick enough on the draw for, but I did cop a vintage Terminator with gun-arm for $5 to protect my desk so no love lost.
4/20 is tomorrow, and once again RetroDuck pushed out a few thousand shirts for dispensary giveaways for our friends at Cali-Blaze, maybe you’ll find one in the wild if drugs are your thing.
